Edinburgh’s Queen Margaret University opens new drive-thru mass vaccination centre
Pictures have emerged of the first people queuing up in cars to access the new drive-thru vaccination centre at Queen Margaret University.
The new vaccination hub, which opened its doors today (February 10th 2021), is the first of its kind in the Lothians region and is capable of vaccinating approximately 720 people per day at 12 stations.
It’s been a great week for NHS Lothian in terms of their vaccination uptake, the Health Board have now given out 100,000 covid jabs, and are keeping all of their vaccination centres going despite recent treacherous weather conditions, telling Edinburgh Live that people ‘should still show up to their appointments.’
