US news networks cut off Donald Trump‘s speech late on Thursday night as the President gave a rambling monologue littered with false claims of electoral fraud.
Speaking as the US election appeared to be slipping away from his grasp, the Republican ranted about “phoney polls” as well as “big media, big money and big tech” after launching legal battles to stay in office.
Major US TV networks including ABC, CBS and NBC all pulled away from covering Mr Trump’s claims, but Fox News and CNN aired the president’s address in full.
